Prof. Kimoon Kim is a Distinguished University professor of Department of Chemistry , Postech and a Director of Center for Self-assembly and Complexity, Institute for Basic Science (IBS).

  Prof. Kimoon Kim graduated Department of Chemistry, Seoul National University in 1976 and got his Ph. D. from Stanford University in 1986.

  He received many awards and honors. Some of them are:  Knowledge Creation Award (2014), 2012 Izatt-Christensen Award (2012), Earl L. Muetterties Memorial Lectureship Award (2011), Ho-Am prize (2006).
