Professor Seogjoo Jang

 

  Professor Seogjoo Jang is a faculty member of Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY). His research interest is theoretical research on energy and charge flow dynamics. The major focus is on quantitative understanding and description of quantum dynamical effects.

 

  He received his Ph.D. degree from University of Pennsylvania in 1999 and M.S. and B. S. from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in 1993 and 1989, respectively.

 

  He received several awards: Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award, 2010; 2009, 2010 Salute to Scholars, City University of New York; Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award, National Science Foundation, 2009; Goldhaber Distinguished Fellowship, Brookhaven National Lab., 2003-2005.
