Dr. Bosoon Park

 

 Dr. Bosoon Park is a research agricultural engineer and lead scientist, Quality and

Safety Assessment Research Unit, USDA-Agricultural Research Service, U.S. National

Poultry Research Center, Athens, Georgia.

  

 Dr. Park is recognized internationally by his work involving ultrasonics, NIR spectroscopy, multi- and hyperspectral imaging, and nanotechnology for food safety and quality.  Dr. Park was the first to use the nanotechnology in food pathogen and toxin detection, and earned an Innovation in Nanotechnology Research award. He is current president of Division of Agriculture and Foods, American Chemical Society.

 

 Dr. Park has authored or co-authored more than 246 refereed journal articles and proceedings and nine book chapters.
