Associate Professor Dong Hee Son
Associate Professor Dong Hee Son is a faculty member of Department of Chemistry, Texas A&M University. His main research areas are (1) chemical synthesis of nanoscale hetero-structures of semiconducting and magnetic materials and (2) real-time laser spectroscopic investigation of the dynamic electronic and magnetic properties of the nanostructures prepared from (1). The results of his research will be applied in designing nanoscale electronic devices and light energy-harvesting materials.
He received his Ph.D. from University of Texas, Austin in 2002 and M.S. and B.S. form Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in 1994 and 1992, respectively.
