Dr. Young Ha KIM Dr. Young Ha KIM studied Chemistry in Seoul National University, Korea and got Ph.D. in Polymer at Phillips University Marburg, Germany in 1978. He worked for 30 years on Biomedical Polymers and Biodegradable Polymers in Korea Institute of Science and Technology, Korea before serving as a professor in Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Korea.

He was the President of The Polymer Soc. of Korea (2004) and of The Korean Society for Biomaterials (2006) and of The International Union of Society for Biomaterials Science & Engineering (2004-2008).
