Prof. Woo Young Lee was an organic chemistry professor of Deaprtment of Chemistry, Seoul National Univ. He joined SNU as a faculty member in 1968. His research interest included host-guest chemistry and macrocyclic compounds.

 He graduated Seoul National University in 1957 and received his Ph. D. degree in 1975.

 He was a Admiral Sun-Shin Lee's direct descendant of 13th generation.
